Gantt Charts?  A great idea designed in 1890 and dialed in over the century. They were designed during an era when large projects were coming to fruition and there was no real way to manage them.  It simplified complex processes enough to allow the human mind to be able to manage large operations.  Of course, since people are fallible, so was the outcome.

Today, Gantt charts still have their place and still add value.  However, just because you can build one, doesn’t mean it should be used for everything.  Now with the aid of technology, the value proposition of Gantt charts diminishes based on the problem you are trying to manage.  For example, how are you assigning crew?  Are you using a system that displays a gantt chart model and forces you to manage the problem?

While this may not be as challenging if you are dealing with a handful of pilots.  What if you had 15 pilots or 25 pilots.  What does that Gantt chart look like now?  How are you orchestrating your pilots across so many trips over multiple days?

Just thinking about it can give a person a headache!

With Charter and Go’s crew assignment model, you won’t need the headache medicine.

The tool is designed to simplify the process using automation and interactive visual aids.

It’s a two-click process to assign a pilot, one more click you have your SIC. It’s designed to help you identify your available pilots and who can fly which aircraft with just one click.
