Ben Vinod Joins Charter and Go as the New COO!

KELLER, TEXAS – Charter and Go is pleased to announce that Ben Vinod has joined the organization as Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Ben will lead Charter and Go’s effort to create the next wave of business innovations for the charter industry. “I am excited to be part of an ultra-talented team with deep knowledge in travel to drive innovation and create value for customers of Charter and Go.

Ben brings to Charter and Go more than 30 years of experience in the technology and travel industries. Prior to joining Charter and Go, Ben most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist at Sabre, a travel technology company, from 2008 – 2020. While at Sabre, he initiated and ran the Artificial Intelligence Special Interest Group to accelerate adoption of AI and Machine Learning methods. 

Ben is a talented and prolific author having published numerous articles and papers throughout his career. His most recent book, The Evolution of Yield Management in the Airline Industry: Origins to the Last Frontier, will be published by Springer in 2021. Ben also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Revenue and Pricing Management and has been the guest editor of Revenue Management on multiple occasions, including a forthcoming issue to be published in 2021 focused on Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning in Travel.
